Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan will sing in the film franchise’s third instalment, after wowing producers on the set of the sequel.
The former rocker will show off his vocal talents when he appears in Fifty Shades Freed, set for release in 2018.
Director James Foley says: “He is an incredibly good singer – he sang a lot on set. He sings in three, but it’s a surprise.”
Well, not any more it’s not.
Jamie is no stranger to a warble – and not just during his many red room scenes with Dakota Johnson.
The actor was in a folk band called Sons of Jim with school friend David Alexander – so called because their dads are both named Jim. They once even went on tour as a support act for KT Tunstall.
But Jamie has sadly admitted: “We weren’t really any good.”
Despite that, the 34-year-old, who hails from Northern Ireland, performed their track Fairytale on local TV in 2008.
And Jamie’s wife, Amelia Warner, had her own singing career under the name Slow Moving Millie.
